South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni has wished actress Kangana Ranaut for her upcoming movie, Thalaivii. The Family Man actress taking to her INSTA Stories, shared a glimpse of the gift box she received from the team. Kangana’s team has sent Samantha a beautiful Kancheepuram silk saree with a note. This note was all about celebrating the woman’s spirit, stating is a Thalaivii in every woman. Samantha thanking the actress and Thalaivii team wrote on her INSTA Stories, “Wishing the team of Thalaivii the very best."

Thalaivii directed AL Vijay, the movie is penned by Baahubali writer KV Vijayendra Prasad. The movie based on the life of actor-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa, it will be releasing in theatres on September 10, 2021. It also stars Aravind Swamy in the role of MGR.
